Bud Cards

How it works

A Bud Card is a regular item — it lives in your inventory or hotbar like any tool.

• Left-click (Primary) — summons the matching Bud next to you. If it's already present, this respawns it at your location.
• Right-click (Secondary) — dismisses that Bud again.
• Each card only ever affects its own Bud, so carrying all three lets you freely mix and match your active companions without any of them interfering with each other.

All four cards (Veri, Gronkh, Keyleth, and the Roster card below) are crafted at the Arcane Workbench, under the Arcane Misc category.

Every recipe costs one Concentrated Life Essence — the Roster card needs three since it stands in for all three individual cards at once.

Roster card

The Roster card spawns or despawns every Bud in your buds/roster.yml default roster at once (ships as Veri, Gronkh, Keyleth) — the same set /bud create spawns when called without an id. It's the fastest way to bring your whole team out or send them all home in one click, without replacing the individual cards: keep those too if you want to summon or dismiss companions one at a time.

Tips

• Cards work anywhere commands do — no server admin permissions needed, they're plain crafted items.
• If a Bud looks "stuck" or invisible after a teleport, a left-click with its card respawns it cleanly (same effect as /bud reset).
• Cards and chat commands are fully interchangeable — use whichever is faster in the moment. A Bud summoned by card can be sent to work a Workstation exactly like one summoned by command.
